Terms of use

The short version

  • The Free plan costs nothing and has daily limits. Paid plans are billed monthly in GBP, and you can cancel any time.
  • Jobs come from other sources, so check the details with the employer before you act.
  • Chat answers come from AI and can be wrong, so check anything important.
  • Use hiring contact details only for genuine work enquiries.

1. About these terms

These terms apply whenever you use CrewDog, with or without an account. By using CrewDog, you agree to them.

CrewDog AI is a trading name of CrewDog Ltd, registered in England and Wales with company number 14167884, at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. “We” and “us” mean CrewDog Ltd.

2. Who can use CrewDog

  • You must be 18 or over.
  • Guests can search without an account, with smaller daily limits.
  • An account is for one person. Keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Give us accurate details, including your certificates.

3. Plans and payment

  • Free costs nothing. Professional is £49 a month and Market Intelligence is £299 a month.
  • Prices are in GBP and include any VAT that applies.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew each month until you cancel.
  • You can cancel in the billing portal at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
  • You can pause Professional while you’re on a contract. Market Intelligence runs continuously and can’t be paused.
  • If we change our prices, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you.
  • Refunds: if you’re a consumer, you can cancel within 14 days of your first payment and get a refund, less a fair amount for what you used before you cancelled. After that, we don’t refund part months.

4. Limits and fair use

  • Each plan has its own limits, shown on our Pricing page.
  • Daily limits reset once a day.
  • A search counts once when you send it. A failed search never counts.
  • We may slow down or block use that looks automated, or that affects CrewDog for other people.

5. Job listings

  • Jobs come from other sources, like job boards and company websites. We don’t write them.
  • We tag each job Direct, Agency or Unknown, and show when it was posted.
  • We never hide agency jobs, and we don’t add details the source didn’t give.
  • We can’t promise a job is still open or that its details are right. Check with the employer or agency before you travel, resign or turn down other work.
  • We aren’t the employer or the agency for the jobs you find, and we don’t make hiring decisions.

6. Chat answers

  • Chat answers are made by AI and can be wrong or out of date.
  • Check anything important, like certificates, rates and dates, with the job advert or the employer.

7. Contact details

Paid plans show work contact details for hiring contacts, and inspector searches show inspectors who say they’re available. If you use them, you must:

  • Use them only for genuine work enquiries.
  • Follow data protection and marketing laws, including when you send emails.
  • Stop contacting anyone who asks you to.
  • Never sell, publish or pass them on outside your own work.

8. Things you must not do

  • Copy or scrape CrewDog, or collect data from it with bots.
  • Resell CrewDog, or share your account with others.
  • Try to break, overload or get around CrewDog’s security or limits.
  • Upload anything false, illegal or harmful, or anything you don’t have the right to share.
  • Use CrewDog to harass, spam or mislead anyone.
  • Share Market Intelligence client links with anyone other than your own clients.

9. Your content

You own the CV, certificates and messages you add. You let us use them to run CrewDog for you, as our Privacy policy explains. You’re responsible for making sure they’re accurate and that you have the right to share them.

10. Our content

CrewDog, including our software, design, name and logo, belongs to us or the people we license it from. Job adverts belong to their sources. You can use CrewDog for your own work, but you can’t copy or reuse it in other ways without our written permission.

11. Closing your account

  • You can close your account at any time by contacting us.
  • We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms. We’ll tell you why, unless the law stops us.
  • If we ever close CrewDog, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice and refund any time you’ve paid for but can’t use.

12. Our responsibility to you

  • We provide CrewDog with reasonable care and skill.
  • We aren’t responsible for job adverts or websites that belong to others, or for decisions you make based on them.
  • We aren’t responsible for losses we couldn’t reasonably have expected when you started using CrewDog.
  • If you use CrewDog for a business, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
  • Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll post changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is important, we’ll email you before it applies. If you don’t agree, you can cancel your plan before the change applies.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If there’s a problem, please contact us first so we can try to sort it out. If we can’t, the courts of England and Wales can decide the dispute. If you’re a consumer, you may also be able to use the courts where you live.
